My Great Big Adventure (that was actually kind of small. And not really mine.)

So.  Today was very interesting.  It started out quite normally, actually.  I got up at a reasonable hour, and went to breakfast with a friend down the hall.  Andy.  (You can read her blog here: http://theincoherentbabbleofanoveractivemind.blogspot.com/ )  It is really her adventure, but I was there, so I will tell my side of it.  First, there was no cranberry juice in the dining hall.  While this is not a great travesty to me, it was to Andy, for she drinks cranberry juice constantly.  She is practically addicted.  Then, there was no milk.  This is not as big a deal as the lack of cranberry juice, apparently, but it is still a terrible thing.

The day went on easily enough until lunch.  The lunch itself was delicious, but after, as we were leaving the pizza place, Andy discovered her keys were missing.  They had made a bid for escape.  In a slight panic, we retraced our steps.  Twice.  It took about an hour.  Then, we thought to talk to our RA, who informed us that not only had she done the same thing last year, but that we should call the Security.  We did so, and a female voice told us that they had them in the Security Office.  We then went down there, after getting a bit lost, whereupon we find that not only has the Officer there not received any calls, but there are no women there at the time and there was no way a woman could have answered the phone!  *PHONE GHOST!*  But in the end, we got her keys back, and, as the great say: all's well that ends well!

  1. It is, of course, "all's well as ends well", but I believe such a notion is beyond most. They probably find it in bad grammar as opposed to an accurate statement.
